Digg, Reddit....et al

I really liked Digg - there was a lot of useful info on the sites. It was nice you could go through so many articles on the same topic for sources. I especially liked how it directed you to related articles.

It's a good way to promote conversations and discussion. You can share links to pages by placing them on Facebook, Twitter, etc for your friends and coworkers to see. If people like what you post, they can comment on it and your info will be posted for millions to see. I think that's a good way to develop a reputation!

I think combining Twitter and Reddit saves time b/c you can choose to follow the Reddit page and keep up to date on current events and news without having to search elsewhere. It's right at your fingertips as an update.

You can always see what newspaper or communication source the article is coming from. I look for who the source is quoting as well - are they creditable or not? I tend to rely on info from well known sources like CNN.com or the NY Times.com. If I haven't heard the name of the website or communication source I like to double check elsewhere.

Gross......I've never been a fan of John and Kate + 8 and am extremely tired of hearing about their family. I feel bad their personal life has to be exploited so much and the children need to grow up in the public eye. If you want my honest opinion, I think Kate looks younger and "hip" with the new haircut but the old haircut makes her look more like a mom. Maybe her new haircut is part of her starting fresh.....I don't really pay attention to what brand the family wears. Isn't John a good friend with Hardy??? Maybe that's why he wears so many of his clothes.
